Diamond Trust Bank partners with WorldRemit for digital money transfers to Uganda

WorldRemit customers in over 50 countries can now send money directly from their phones to several new cash pickup locations in Uganda. We are delighted to be expanding our partnership with DTB across East Africa, after launching bank transfer and cash pickup services to Kenya with the bank last year.  “Uganda is now our fourth largest receive market in Africa and is growing at over 35% year-on-year. Our partnership with DTB adds several new cash pickup locations across urban and rural areas of Uganda to our network., making it even easier for recipients to receive money from abroad.”“You can now receive money from over 50 countries worldwide with WorldRemit, and our partnership sets DTB apart as a centre of excellence for money transfers services to Uganda. “Our branches are a one stop centre where you can manage all your financial transactions. Our working hours at several branches, from 8am to 8pm even on Sundays, also enhance our customers’ ability to access their money.”
