WorldRemit Future Stars winner Hamisi Mohamed visits WorldRemit HQ and Arsenal FC for an exclusive training programme

The tailored programme was designed by WorldRemit and Arsenal FC to connect Hamisi with mentors and help him build a legacy back home in Kenya“It has been a great trip. Watching a match live at Arsenal is a dream come true and I have also received a lot of useful information and training. Going back home with the new skills and knowledge I have developed will help me to improve my project and the work I am doing through the Young Talents Academy. When I go back, I will organize a coaching clinic to share this knowledge with the wider community. I would like to thank WorldRemit and Arsenal for the opportunity and I hope they will keep up the good work in supporting the community,”“Our customers prove on a daily basis, the powerful impact that individuals like Hamisi can have on their communities. We were very impressed with what Hamisi has already been able to achieve and are looking forward to seeing how this opportunity will help his efforts to go further still in enriching the lives of young people in his community.”“We set up Future Stars with Arsenal to recognise the huge contribution that youth football coaches make to their local communities. The programme has reinforced our belief in the power of football to unite people and inspire positive change, and we are eager to expand the programme next year to further support the communities we serve through sport.”“The strength of Arsenal and WorldRemit’s connection to the community enables us to reach out to many in society in a way that few organisations can. It was a great privilege to meet Hamisi and we have learned a lot from him about how he makes such a difference to the lives of the young people that he trains. His passion for coaching really shone through in the practical session, and the way he was able to lead a new group of children was fantastic.“By working with inspiring and talented individuals like Hamisi who work at the centre of their community, we can have a greater impact on the communities which support both our organisations. We are confident that he will succeed in building a lasting legacy in Kenya.”
